Having A Goldfish Simulator
In 1995, one of the first web projects I ever did was something called "Having A Goldfish Simulator". This was years before the later trend of "[Absurd Thing] Simulator" type games which followed in the new century. (I was personally taking inspiration from this.)
The original was made entirely in HTML, with graphics done in MS Paint. It was uploaded to my family's webspace that we got free with Compuserve (ask your grandparents). And now I've re-created it to the best of my memory... and I've added FMV!
The video portions of this game use a couple of free PNGs I found on one of those "PNGs-4-U" type websites. After Effects was used to produce the video files, along with FFMPEG for final file conversion.
