A combination of CYOA, a parser, and indeterminacy.

LATEST FROM REUTERS: Two twin sisters accused a snake attached to a human arm balancing on a walking stick that he taped over their Moschops video. The snake/human arm/walking stick creature denies the charges, saying he is the real, honest-to-God, snakiest snake of all snakes, and you can’t prove otherwise. No one is denying that, but he keeps droning on about it...

This game is more or less finished, but at time of writing will have loads of bugs and things that ought to be cleared up. Feel free to leave a comment pointing out any errors, spelling mistakes, etc. Please note that this game is, by its very nature, deliberately odd and inconsistent with how everything is presented.

The trouble with absurdist art is it's hard to tell the bugs from a deliberate joke at the expense of the user, writer or God himself

Anyway this happened:

>talk to Emmalucy

"Do you know where Europe is?"

"No, I don't know where Europe is. Do you know where Europe is?"

"I already said that I don't know where Europe is. So we've partially solved this problem - we admit to our lack of knowledge on the matter."

"Do you know the world?"

"I do know that. It's a place where people used to live."

"They still do, don't they?."

I was aware the ending could peter out like that... It is meant to end on a undefined kind of note but I'll need to tighten that up a bit.

Ok, I think that part's fixed now, and Release 2 is up and running - it has a more definite ending state.

The effect is much the same in many ways.
